DIY glitter phone case

Is your phone monotonous? Yes…Do you want to spice up your mobile’s look? Do you love glitters?
This DIY glitter phone cover really got my eye and I decided to give it a try. It turned out to be really good. So let’s hop into the instructions.

Things you need:-
Transparent mobile cover (or old mobile cover will do)
Glue
Glitters
Brushes

Instructions:
Before starting up clean your cover with alcohol to remove dust so that your glitter will stick precisely. Then apply glue to the cover evenly. I added 1 part of water and 2 part of glue. The consistency of glue and water mixture should be medium. After glue application is over take glitters. I took blue and purple color. You can mix any and as many colors you desire. Sprinkle the glitter over the glue and after sprinkling, pat the brush on glitters to secure it. Then remove excess glitter and let it dry for 15 mins. Apply second coat the same way. Now apply glue mixture with a brush on glitters to secure it from falling and let it dry overnight. Voila! Your dazzling phone case is ready.
So here is my project's outcome.

Ps. Don’t forget to spread some newspaper to reduce mess.

Book Review: The Maze Runner series

If you are a bookworm like I am, then surely you must be having certain favorite book or series. It’s like you read a book and you love it so much that you end it greedily and then regret ending it. And then you keep babbling about it to your friends, Siblings and even people who hates reading. You can even read the book all over again and still enjoy every second reading it. Personally I never had any favorite novel till date and I used to think how people can read a book all over again and never get bored of it. Until I read ‘The Maze Runner Series’. I was going to write an individual review for each book but the whole series was so interesting that it consumed my mind and I read the whole series.
The series got three books:

1.       The Maze Runner

2.       The Scorch Trails

3.       The Death Cure

It also have two prequels, first is ‘the kill order’ and other is ‘the fever code’ (which is not yet released). But it is ok if you read the series’ first and ignore prequel.

So let’s talk about the book covers first. The covers of all the three books are pretty catchy. And I’m sure you will fall in love with them at first sight.

What is the concept? The ‘Wicked’ is an association which is running menacing trails on people to get a cure for the fatal disease which consumes the human brain making them crazy. This disease is named as ‘the flare’. The flare is caused by the sun which emits more heat than usual eventually making people sick. This is an incurable disease. The people diagnosed with this becomes insane and filthy and their body is also covered with boils and burns caused by the sun. The wicked is performing experiments on Gladers (residents of glade), persuading them to go through fatal environments in order to track down how their brain reacts to it. By doing so they assure that they will find a cure. The concept was really nice and unique. The book is a roller-coaster ride, there are ups and downs and you will never regret it. All the characters were explained in detail and also you can relate to them as well. I seriously felt a connection with the main characters. It is an easy read. The books consist of only 200 to 300 pages. Which makes it quick read.

Would I recommend the book? Yes, I would. This series is a must read. The book is a whole package adventure, action, suspense, thriller, fantasy, it has everything you can name of. So go of it cranks.

Percy Jackson and the Greek Gods Book Review

Synopsis:
Percy Jackson didn't originally like being the son of Poseidon. He warmed up to the idea later, given its perks. However, he came to realize that the gods are a strange bunch, their stories are usually told by god-fearing mortal bards who don’t really know them that well. In this book, Percy tells the story of the gods from his point of view. Hilariously critical of their actions and their temperaments, Percy reveals how Zeus became the head honcho, and how Kronos ate one of his own kids. He also reveals how Athena burst out of another god’s head, quite literally. In plain monochrome, Percy takes readers back into the Homeric world we all know, but he shows us that no one knows it like the son of a god.
If you are into Greek mythology and want to know more about Greek gods then, this is the right book for you. The author gives the book a humorous touch so you won’t get bored and discontinue reading it. The cover of the book is very catchy and glossy. As the book name suggest, nearly every important information about main greek gods is mentioned in the book. It contains stories about twelve Olympian gods and also about some mortals and monsters. The book made me head over heel and also the pace of the book was perfect. The arrangement of stories was good. The author explained the twelve Olympians fairly. This book contains bloodshed, stealing, lying, cannibalism and treason that’s why I don’t think it’s suitable for children. I don’t have any favorite characters because every god has their own goodness and drawbacks. Does the author accomplished his objective of the book? Yes, he did, he explained every basic info you needed to know about greek gods (That’s all you can pen down in 400 pages, you can’t go in detail to every gods background, it will take individual book to explain in depth). The book is written in simple English. Would I recommend it? Yes, I would recommend this book to young –adult and adult readers who are interested in Greek mythology.

Fiction movie for a day

Imagine you wake up n you get a chance to change or live your life into a fiction movie. What would be your reaction? Which movie would you choose? How would you spend your day? Well, I will be totally confused about which movie to choose. I’m a fiction movie lover and I got a long list of movies which are my favorites.  I will pick “Resident evil” and personate “Alice” the protagonist; she is my favorite character from the whole series of Resident evil for two reasons - firstly Alice is very independent and dauntless which I admired the most, secondly, I love the way she kick the butt of the corpses.

Now, before going out of my house I will wear a black leather suit with knee length boots (where I can keep my guns).  I will prefer to have machine gun which can shoot many corpses. Then I will hit the road and start fighting with zombies who tries to mess with me. I will find the people which are not infected by T-virus and help them to escape. As Nemesis helped Alice against “Umbrella” the same way I will be helped by Nemesis to save civilians. My whole day will be loaded with adventure, thrill and fear; even though Alice (I) should be brave but you never know from which corner a living-dead would attack you.

This whole idea makes me excited and I am sure you too must be fantasizing yourself in your favorite fiction movie. How would you spend your day? Do comment below your ideas I’m keen to know how you would spend your fiction movie for a day. If you like my posts do follow my blog and stay tune for more.

PS: If you love watching action/fiction movies I recommend you to watch whole Resident evil series.

Encounter with God’s beautiful creation

I want to share my view with all of you. In this savage world, as we all have read in newspapers about molestation, murders, gang rape, and children assault, people are losing faith in mankind. We are conscious when it comes to trust someone but there is a purest soul in our society to which we are unlearned. To which we show our cruel side. Yes! Animals hold the purest soul.
From the very start my family is attached to animals. When I was 5 years old, we used to live in kalyan. Near our building there was a magnificent tree, which was spreading his huge and strong arms. The tree sheltered many animals such as squirrels, crows and even snakes. The cute squirrels used to get in our rooms to eat nuts. The feeling I used to get was awesome. From that moment I got attached to animals. I had a soft corner for them. They were my mood lifters. Whenever I used to feel low even memories of them shifted my mood to positive. Then we shifted to Navi-Mumbai, I thought that all the redoubtable moments are gone forever but no God gifted me pets in abundance. Now, we are having 4 pet dogs at home and 9 stray dogs who are feed by my mom. I really enjoy spending time with them. As I’m in 10th, they are my stress busters. Whenever I look into their eyes I can see a soul like us the only difference is that they can’t speak.
I have seen many people; they will throw the food in the dustbin but never like to give it to strays. Even they take away their anger on animals by assaulting them. What is their fault that God made them dumb and dependent on human? Why are they treated like hell? Is humanity in this world is lost? I just wanted to convey a message that respect animals and they will respect you. They know the true value of love. They are like mirror, when you are happy your happiness can be perceived in them.

Hachiko : A dog’s Story

I am sharing movie trailer of Hachiko : A dog’s story. I particularly enjoyed this movie, because the main hero of the story is a dog named “Hachi”.
A very interesting movie based on true story about a dog and his master, clearly mentions the bond the dog and his masters shares. Though the movie made me cry in the end, I would recommend this movie to all of you. Watch this movie if you haven’t.
Watch the movie trailer of Hachiko.
